Hey folks, let’s enter the world of MetaCelo: https://app.metacelo.io/
When you first enter the metaverse, you need to give your character a name. Please choose for yourself a beautiful and civilized name! Here’s your Patrick, let’s get started!
When you press “START”, the system will ask you to connect the wallet. We recommend using MetaMask wallet with Celo Network configuration. For details on how to configure, please refer to this article: https://docs.celolaunch.io/guideline/configure-celo-network (Thanks to CeloLaunch for a complete and detailed tutorial)
After successfully connecting the wallet, you will be allowed to choose the Server you want to enter. At the time of this writing, there are 3 servers including a solo one named “Private Server” and 2 multiplayer servers named “Server 1” and “Server 2”. The number of servers can be expanded if more players are playing to limit lag/delay affecting the player experience.
When entering the game, you will start in a small town named Yggdrasil but full of utilities around such as Shop, Marketplace, SushiSwap Exchange, Farm Area,… In the top left corner of the interface is your character information including wallet address, character name and cMETA balance in the wallet. In the bottom left corner is the chat box where you can talk and discuss with other players in the MetaCelo universe. And in the bottom right corner there are buttons for you to quickly access the game functions such as Inventory, Shop, Farm.
Now let’s explore the Shop, where your journey is about to begin.
Shop
Right in the middle of Yggdrasil town lies the MetaCelo Shop, run by Michael, a well-known local businessman who made his fortune by selling goods for monster trainers. Although polite and calm, but every time a business loses, he is quite furious and upset, don’t have issues with him!
Click on the Shop to open the Shop Interface.
When you first enter the Shop, you will see that the interface in the Shop currently has 3 mysterious boxes and the initial quantity of each type of box is 1500.
The shop will provide a lot of valuable and usable items in the game, so let’s wait for the upcoming features. Now let’s go to the mysterious boxes and see what they do.
Mystery Box
The Legendary Blacksmith
The mysterious boxes were forged by a legendary blacksmith named Phastos, one of the ancient human race called Eternals of the MetaCelo universe, with the purpose of allowing the Eternals to capture and imprisonancient monsters named Deviants.
After being imprisoned in the box for thousands of years, these ferocious and ruthless Deviants that killed countless people will be tamed and become a new species that obeys the box’s owner, the new species known as the Guardians.
When this box is opened, the player will receive a Guardian with a type corresponding to the box type. Guardian’s rarity will be random as no one knows what kind of Deviants that the Eternals captured and held.

Mystery Grass Box
- Receive 1 Grass-type Guardian with random rarity
- Strongest against Water-type guardian

Mystery Water Box
- Receive 1 Water-type Guardian with random rarity
- Strongest against Fire-type guardian

Mystery Fire Box
- Receive 1 Fire-type Guardian with random rarity
- Strongest against Grass-type guardian
- Weakest against Water-type guardian
The owner of the shop in Yggdrasil called Michael — said that his shop currently offers 3 types of mysterious boxes corresponding to 3 types of Guardians including Fire, Water and Grass only. He also revealed that there are actually many different types of Guardians in this metaverse as in the past, the Deviants species were extremely diverse with very strong and extremely rare types. Some Deviants even possessed more than 2 attributes. However in this small town, his shop does not own those rare boxes.
Go to the Shop and own your first box!

After purchasing the box, click on Inventory in the bottom right corner of the Game to open the inventory and check it out.
Nowadays, before trainers can figure out how to open these boxes, they can use the mystery box to generate passive revenue through the staking feature.
Farmville
Moving to the west of Yggdrasil town, you will find the house of Edward, an experienced and famous farmer.
At his house, he will show you how to generate income from adding LPs with cMETA/CELO or cMETA/cUSD. Additionally, he also teaches you how to earn more cMETA from the mystery box by staking it.
When clicking on MetaCelo Farm, the Farming/Staking interface will appear.
LP Farming

Add liquidity pair of cMETA/CELO or cMETA/cUSD by clicking “Add Liquidity” or use the links below:

After adding your LP successfully, get back to MetaCelo App and input the amount of LP Tokens you just received, then click “Stake”.

- You can add LP or remove LP at anytime
- 10% tax fee of the transaction when adding LP with CELO

Box Staking
1) How To Do
Click “Enable Contract” to approve for Staking
Select your NFTs that you own to Stake, then click button “Stake”Or you can select your NFT that you already staked to unstake, then click button “Unstake”
2) Information
- You can unstake your Box at anytime
- Harvest after 24 hours
